WWE releases Brian Kendrick

Kendrick had been jobbing to everyone lately, including a 59-year-old Jerry Lawler. That match did nothing to further any storyline, so it was a bit of a head scratcher. Now we know why he's been jobbing.
Clearly WWE had no idea what to do with Kendrick. They seemed to have something going for him in his pursuit of a tag team partner to challenge then-champions Primo and Carlito for the Unified Tag Team titles. That angle was quickly dropped. Read more...
